Farah Medical Campus
Touching Lives Since 1977
Farah Medical Campus (FMC) is an integrated healthcare ecosystem designed for the journey of holistic care and healing. Located in the heart of Amman’s Iconic medical district, it is home to our new multi-specialty General Hospital, our renowned Farah Woman & Child Hospital, and a host of specialized centers and labs, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. Our doors are open to Jordan, the region, and the world as an integrated medical institution determined to set new standards in healthcare and contribute to the well-being and quality of life of an ever-growing community. We follow a patient-centered approach where we learn all we can about each patient, their medical history, lifestyle, and family, in order to provide personalized care while keeping their families comfortable and involved throughout their treatment journey. Healing a patient is healing a family. We believe holistic care revolves around evidence-based practices, advanced technology, clear communication, and human emotions. At FMC, healthcare and medical treatment is a holistic journey to wellness. We recognize that this is a journey in which we accompany our patients every step of the way on the road to recovery.
Farah General Hospital
Farah General is a purpose-built, tertiary care multi-specialty hospital designed and built according to the latest and best-practice guidelines. It is the culmination of decades of experience in world class healthcare delivery from founder and chairman of FMC Dr. Zaid Kilani and his team. The hospital started receiving patients in January 2017 and is witnessing steady growth not only in number of admissions, but also in type and complexity of cases. Farah General stands out to be a technological and architectural masterpiece with one target in mind: to deliver un-paralleled patient-centered experience that is second to none. It is home to Jordan’s first green building LEED nominated hospital in addition to a host of state-of-the-art technologies first to be introduced locally, regionally and in some cases internationally such as being home to the world’s largest installation of Philips’ “Ambient Experience”, the Middle-East’s first HIFU-MRI machine for non-invasive treatment of uterine fibroids, Jordan’s first “Hybrid Operating Room” dedicated for complex cardiac, trauma and neuro-surgeries, and Jordan’s first “Robotic Microscope” for complex brain and spine surgeries to mention a few.
Farah Woman & Child Hospital
Previously known as “Farah Maternity Hospital”, Farah Woman & Child is the corner stone to what has become Farah Medical Campus (FMC). Officially inaugurated in 1994 by His Majesty the Late King Hussein, the hospital has undergone several expansions from a single story clinic (1987), to a four story maternity hospital (1994), to the eleven story iconic Woman & Child Hospital of today (2001). As it stands, Farah Woman & Child is a dedicated purpose-built facility specializing in infertility & IVF, obstetrics & gynecology, fetal medicine, neonatal care and pediatrics. The hospital’s legacy includes 30+ years of experience in the field of assisted reproduction & IVF, where its founder Dr. Zaid Kilani was the first infertility expert to introduce IVF to Jordan and the region back in the early 1980’s. The hospital is internationally recognized as a center of excellence in IVF, high risk obstetrics & gynecology and obstetric anesthesia and is actively involved in research and data publications in these respective fields. 2019 is a very special year in the life of Farah Woman & Child, as it marks the 25th year anniversary since its inauguration by His Majesty the Late King Hussein of Jordan.

Farah Wellness Program
At Farah Medical Campus, we take health seriously, this is why we introduced the Farah Wellness Program. The program focuses on primary, secondary and tertiary prevention and aims to catch a medical condition early on and to treat it before any sequel develops. Key aspects of the program revolve around re-enforcing positive behavior and adopting healthy lifestyle such as healthy eating habits, engaging in physical activity and smoking cessation. Through FMC’s network of top physicians, we develop constant dialogue between the Wellness Program “patrons” and the physicians taking care of them. We realize that education is key to taking charge of one’s health, therefore FMC provides 3000 Mayo Clinic educational topics to its patrons. Realizing the fast-pace and hectic daily life routine of today and how it’s taking its toll on our mental health, the program also offers its patrons psychological support in the form of psychologist/psychiatrist consultations in addition to music and art therapy.
